    Description

Offered for sale is a set of Western Airlines silverware.  The silver-plated set includes one knife, one fork, and one spoon. They were manufactured by Oneida. The condition of the pieces is used, but still in very good condition particularly since they're likely 50+ years old. They will be shipped with USPS first class mail to US addresses only.
Western Airlines operated primarily in the western part of the US beginning in 1926, though during its latter years it went to some major East Coast cities as well as to London. It ceased operations on April 1, 1987 when it was purchased by Delta Air Lines.  As a kid I flew between San Francisco and Los Angeles a few times on Western's DC-6Bs.  Those were great flights on a great airline.
