These high density flap discs are designed for the user looking for extended life and conformability in heavy-duty applications. 40 percent more abrasive cloth than a standard flap disc. 100 percent zirconium grain provides superior edge grinding. Engineered poly/cotton cloth features excellent grain retention for maximum disc life. Phenolic prevents backing from scratching the workpiece. Zirconium grain features multi- crystal, fast cut rate, self- sharpening, stands up to heavy pressure and high temperatures and high rate of stock removal and long life in demanding applications. Extended life and conformability; for heavy - duty applications on steel and stainless steel.
