VINTAGE RARE PRESIDENT THOMAS JEFFERSON SHIP BUST NAUTICAL FIGUREHEAD ALFCO NY

Description

Pictured is a very rare 1950's/60's vintage Thomas Jefferson figurehead/masthead bust, made by ALFCO NY (Artistic Latex Foam Company, New York), a company that stopped producing items by the early 1970's. ALFCO made many resin based home/restaurant decor ship figurehead reproductions. This Thomas Jefferson figurehead may have been a limited edition piece and may be one of the only examples out there. I found a picture of only one other online, but it wasn't in the best condition. This piece has a few age related/stress cracks in the resin exterior from temperature changes and/or interior foam expansion. Measures 23" tall, has a bracket on the back and is ready to be mounted on a wall. It weighs in at approximately 4 lbs.

SHIPPING INSURANCE

RETURNS
: Not accepted unless an item arrives in a different condition (i.e. damaged) than what is described in the listing or it never arrives at all. If an item ends up getting damaged or lost in transit, I will handle matters on my end.
