    Description

    Here is a charming ,naively hand-painted picture frame with butterflies,ladybugs, snails and flowers on the surround. The entire frame measures 17 x 21 ins. while the back insert rabbet size is 12 x 16 ins. The frames background color is a beige with a slight greenish tinge(very slight). The frame is solid wood, sturdy  still. The frame is not signed, sometimes these types of hand-painted items are signed but there is a piece of tape on the back with Mrs.Roberts ( I think it says that) written on it. Possibly that is the artist name.I would date this frame to the 1980-90s time period, so a good 20-30 years old.
