Vintage Ideal Shirley Temple 16” Doll Poor Little Rich Girl Dress Tagged with Original Pin Circa 1930s.
She is one of many from my 30+ years of collecting Shirley Temple memorabilia.
This is a beautiful Shirley.  Her composition is in good condition but she does have crazing throughout.  She has no cracks, but she does have a small chip on her nose and her left foot appears to have been repaired.
Her hair is thick, full and curly, but it could use a combing.  Her sleep eyes look like they may have been painted and she has all her eyelashes. Her stringing is good and she stands perfectly on and off the stand (which is included).
Shirley wears the appliqué dress from the movie Poor Little Rich Girl.  The Ideal Tag is attached in the back and it is very worn.   The dress is in fair condition as it has several tears in the front and what looks like a burn on the back side.  It may have come from a smokey environment as it is yellowing and needs a cleaning.  It has no odor.  It has the typical 2-button closure in the back.  Her onesie has a few tears and has the typical safety pin closure.  Her shoes are oil cloth.
She wears her original Ideal Shirley Temple Pin, which can be authenticated by the markings around the rim “Ideal Novelty & Toy Co” on the top, “Her Signature” on the bottom below her name and “Made in U.S.A” on the side.
She has been kept in a display case in my smoke-free home for many, many years. I am downsizing so it is time for her to go to a new home to be loved as I have loved her. She is unusually marked 60 Shirley Temple on her head and the typical Shirley Temple 16 on her torso.
