VICTORIAN BIRDWING BUTTERFLY DISPLAY in ANTIQUE BUBBLE GLASS FRAME

Description

The Victorians were enthralled with all things Natural History and are famously known for their displays of animal and plant life. This gorgeous Victorian-like insect display is of an Australian birdwing butterfly surrounded by smaller butterflies all professionally mounted on a pillow of blue satin and housed in an antique bubble glass frame. The birdwing has a wingspan of approximately 7" and the smaller butterflies 2 1/2". The frame is approximately 26" X 19". I did my best to remove glare and reflection from the photo using Photoshop but unfortunately the bubble glass still shows glare. Needless to say the display is fragile and I can't imagine shipping it without damage. I am willing to do so but without a guarantee.
