Very Rare, Antique Handmade Wood Child’s Boat
We are offering for sale a very rare, “one of a kind” handmade child’s boat
. One dealer refers to it as the Teddybear boat.The boat is from  early turn of the century. It is from the estate of Frank Whitson a antique collector and dealer in Antique Row, Baltimore, Maryland.
The boat would make a wonderful display piece for your collection of duck decoys or fishing lures or whatever. It would be an interesting coffee table too.
The boat is in very good used vintage  condition. It is structurally sound, high quality and very heavy. It weighs 20 pounds. The boat is entirely made of wood. By inspecting the boat, it is clear it was built by a skilled craftsman who used tongue and groove and rabbiting technics to make the boat solid and watertight. It has original  crusty white paint over gray.
The boat is 49 ½" long, 14 ¾”wide in center, 9 ½” deep, 11 ½” wide at back. The boat has two seats.
