Very Nice Antique Gold Gilt Over Gesso Frame and Quality Pastel Painting

Description

For your consideration is this very nice antique gold gilt over gesso frame with an original pastel painting of a child on an old tricycle. That said, I am not selling it for the artwork, but the frame. It measures approximately 28-1/2" x 24-1/2" and will accommodate a 23-3/8" x 19-3/8" photograph or other artwork.
The pastel, sold as such at an estate auction, comes unsigned. It is such a high quality pastel - it almost looks like a photograph. It was framed in Lincoln, Nebraska, 1994 by John Allen Framing Co. I don't understand why this would not be signed - maybe the name was trimmed off the bottom to fit the frame.
Condition: The frame has some small chips on the corners. The pastel has small tears and some discoloration.
