    Description

    This is a set of two books about the adoption of my grandson, James and his bull terrier puppy, Maisy.
    Our children and grandchildren are adopted and grew up in a family with at least one bull terrier.
    We've owned bull terriers since the early 70's and just can't imagine having any other breed. Our first child was a brindle standard female who we called Baby.
    I feel that the adoption of a pet helps an adopted child understand adoption and having a "forever" home.
    I've had wonderful feedback from friends who have read these to their biological children and grandchildren, some who know James and Maisy. Most people don't want to ask you personal questions about your adopted children....these books open discussion and give young children confidence and positive feelings about their adoption that they can build on as they grow.
