Paul Wellstone presidential buttons 2000. Rare pins from Draft campaign

3" and 2.25"   I acquired these buttons in 2000 from the Draft Wellstone campaign. Sen. Wellstone decided not to run due to back problems and two years later he died in a plane crash. In the last act of his political career, he defied the advice of the political coward class and cast a vote against authorizing the US invasion of Iraq. He was in the midst of a close reelection campaign and knew that this vote could end his tenure in the senate. May this man of conscience rest in peace and may his memory be forever preserved.
