My breath was taken away when I was sifting through childhood treasures and found her laying untouched in the original box. The original owner was a lucky little girl who knew that this was her “pretty doll” and only ever looked at her—never played with.
Her signature honey mohair wig is extremely thick and curly and has an adorable single curl brushing her forehead. She has never been touched or cleaned, and has been laying in her box for over 70 years. The back of her mohair wig is flat from laying down for all that time. Her eyes are remarkably *not* crystallized and have a clarity that only someone buying her brand new would’ve seen. Her dress, undergarments, socks and shoes are crispy and vivid and has all tags and her special Ideal button. Her eyes open and close with ease and have their lashes.
Her bright high-coloring is exquisite and bright fleshy pink color with full red blushing cheeks, painted lashes, and lips with no rubs. Her composition, while vivid and shiny, has *obvious crazing* throughout her face and limbs. Please study the photos and zoom in, as they are meant to be the visual description. While she is *crazed,* there are no actual cracks or lifts in her composition. No odors. Her vivid skin tone is brilliant and not at all pale, as she was stored in her box and never exposed to light. The original box retains its original label with the word “PINK” stamped—the lid has seen better days: it has tape on it and is missing a flap. Her stringing has become a little loose.
She is approx 15.5” depending on where she is measured.
