    Description

    Here is an old carving, obviously from a sailor to the gal he left behind.
    It measures about 13.5" long and 9" high.
    It reads "From Ernest to Stella" on the front and the reverse "Always Remember Me" with large initials in the center.
    I have no idea as to the age as it is not dated. It has some chips to the wood which I think is pine so see pics for condition.
    I hope they met up at a later time.
