Product Description
Metal® Norton® Flap Disc - Flap discs are versatile grinding and finishing tools with three main components: backing plate, adhesive, and abrasive flaps. The flaps wear during use continually exposing new abrasive grain. The different variations of the components provide a variety of applications, ranging from heavy stock removal to blending to finishing. Flap discs are designed for portable grinder applications and can combine the 2-step stock removal and finishing operations of depressed center wheels and fiber discs into one operation.
Features
Quality zirconia alumina abrasive for good cut rate and life - at low initial price point
Type 27 Flat discs are designed to be used at a 0 to 15 degree angle on flat surfaces for blending and smooth finishing
Fiberglass/resin backing plates are the most popular due to high strength, light weight and ability to absorb vibration
Polyester/cotton backing combination for good cut rate and finishing
Coarse 40 grit for stock removal, beveling and edge chamfering
4-1/2" dia x 1" thick x 7/8" arbor
Shipping Policies
We suggest Priority Mail for lighter weight items under 4lbs and UPS for heavier items when shipping in the Unites States. WE USUALLY SHIP THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY AFTER PAYMENT RECEIVED, SAME DAY IN SOME CASES. Tracking information will be sent once order has shipped. We strive to always have stock available for shipping, but from time to time stock-outs may occur. Some welders are not stock items and will be ordered from manufacturer when paid for. It usually takes only a few days to ship to you. We are open M-F 8-4 Eastern. Orders received over the weekend are processed on Monday and usually ship Monday or Tuesday.
All items are covered by Manufacturer warranties. We will help you with any warranty issues. Small items shipped by UPS ground, FedEx Ground, USPS First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail, unless you choose 1st or 2nd day air at additional charge. Larger welders are shipped via common carrier of our choice. We get it to your door. Additional charges for lift gates or special delivery are at your cost.
Some are shipped direct from manufacturer.
International Buyers: Only items marked for sale for international sale will be sold internationally. Warranties may not be honored in all countries. Buyer solely responsible for all import fees and duty tax. All payments in US dollars.
