    Description

    Super Rare!  "Our Baby's Book, A Record of Baby Days", created by Ernest Nister, London and published by E. P. Dutton, New York. Printed in Bavaria. Numbered "No. 3261".  26 pages. Original book in original box. Circa 1915.  Includes a small unused "Announcing the arrival of" card and envelope. Beautiful illustrations on each page, including 5 full page color chromo-lithographs.  Includes pages for "Christening Day", "Baby's First Christmas", "Baby's Short Clothes", "Learning to Creep", "First Tooth", "Weight and Height", "First Birthday Party", "Birthday Presents", "Locks of Hair", "Baby's First Holiday", with pages for photos scattered throughout. This book could easily be used with very minor alterations. What a unique and wonderful gift for the expecting mother!

    Condition: Writing on first blank endpaper "To Mary Viola from Auntie Viola Merry Christmas 1919" (in light ink) and the third page has the name "Mary Viola" written in light ink in the spot for the name. Otherwise, no writing. This book looks Brand New, and the original box looks Brand New.  There are no flaws. The covers are perfect - clean and perfectly bright. The pages are immaculate with no soiling, foxing, tears or rips. The box has one frayed corner, but otherwise is solid and clean.
