Minolta Super 8 Movie Camera Kit.
The camera has been tested and all features work.
The only downside is sometimes the camera motor will slow just a bit when the camera is moved around. If you can live with that, pick up this bargain.
It is nice and compact and has a removable handgrip.
It has a quality built multi-coated lens that produces excellent looking footage.
This Minolta has a very fast and sharp f/1.2 zoom lens.
This camera is great in daylight shooting and since it is an XL camera, it is wonderful for low light/existing light filming too.
The camera body is in nice condition.
The lens is clean & clear with

scratches, nicks or haze.
Viewfinder has a few normal dust specks that don't show up on film of course.

A word on the time lapse feature....many Super-8 cameras have a single frame feature, which is not the same as an intervalometer. Cameras with only single frame are not well suited for time lapse, (animation yes-time lapse no). This is because, when doing time lapse, you would have to manually take an exposure every time you wanted to expose a frame of film...so to obtain about 4 seconds of finished screen time, you would have to sit by the camera and take an exposure once every minute for an hour. Boring! This Minolta allows you to set it up (on a tripod or wherever) set the frequency of your exposures and walk away. The camera will do the rest until you run out of film or stop the camera.
