What is a marine polish & why is it an important step?
Polishing, or glazing, is an optional step that provides additional nutrients and oils for maximum depth of shine and reflectivity. There are cleaner polishes that lightly clean to remove below surface defects and add gloss. However, if its a pure polish or glaze it doesnt contain any cleaners or abrasives, nor does it contain wax protection. A pure polish is really designed as a gloss enhancer to be used between compounding and applying wax protection.
Meguiars Marine/RV M45 High Gloss Polish
is a marine grade formula that contains nutrients and rich polishing oils that nourish gel coat and fiberglass surfaces for incredible gloss and depth of shine. This step is intended for use after a compound and before applying a wax or sealant, and most effective on darker colors for a brilliant high gloss finish. This is an optional step that is designed to be both safe and effective by hand, dual action polisher like,

Wash & evaluate the surface
Begin by washing and drying your boat or RV with a premium marine wash.
