    Description

    About these Items:
    A
    matching
PAIR of Antique Ornate Frames with Convex 'bubble' glass.    These frames are substantial in size and the ornate design is quite impressive.  They truly make a statement.
The front of the frames look identical to me.  They are both marked "Italy" on the reverse on the top.  The back of the two frames are slightly different in color and a have a few other minor differences (which, of course, are not visible when hung on your wall).  Both frames have hangers on the back..one of them actually has a hanger
    and
    a wire.
If you have a matching pair of family photographs (Bride and Groom, parents, children perhaps?), these frames would be an superb way to display them side by side in a most impressive manner.
    The frames measure:  Height 21 1/2" x Width 15 3/4"
They will fit pictures that are 15 3/4" x 12"
One frame has its original print entitled "Samuel In Prayer” by Sir Joshua Reynolds.  The other has a photo of a modern bride. These were purchased in an upscale antique shop in the 1980s and they were old even then.
A magnet does not stick to these frames but I suspect that they are plated, not solid brass.
