Large Metal Picture Frame
Imported from Europe : clearly marked on the rear, " Made - Italy "
Antique / vintage style pierced swirling scroll decoration all around, crowned with a scallop shell / fan design.
Inner border with small, stylized botanical / fleur de lis pattern , all around.
Aged bronze color finish.
Raised metal edge at the rear ( about 5/16" high ) to receive a picture , large photograph, , matted artwork , etc.
Note that this is a solid and substantial frame; with the backing board it weighs about 4 lbs.
( packing weight will be higher )
The rear of the wooden backing board included with this frame is nicely covered with smooth, soft velvet cloth.
The board slides snugly into the raised metal receiver, and is then locked into place with six solid metal pins at the sides.
No glass.
Metal hanger at the rear.
