    Description

    Large Antique Early 20thC Nautical Folk Art Rowboat Gaff Rig Boat Pond Model NR. We are not sure of the origin or what it’s use was but this massive model appears to have been a working model. It is about33 “ long. 12” wide and over 6” high. There is a hole in the deck forward of the cabin , it may have been for a mast. Possibly a gaff rigged sailboat. It has the look of some type of Chesapeake bay working boat. The construction and detail are very impressive. It is solid and weighs over 10 pounds. Just a great piece of maritime folk art. With no reserve.
