    Description

    From a local estate, this listing offers a very nice pair of Korsteel stirrup irons.  These are Korsteel's Fillis Peacock Safety Stirrups which are a must for young or inexperienced riders.  The irons are weighted so they stay more still (especially if you lose a stirrup).  They are made from heavy stainless steel and include
    stirrup pads and peacock leathers, but are missing the elastic peacock rings (which can be purchased on line or at your local tack shop).  The stirrup is designed to release the foot during a fall to prevent injury.  Gently used, showing no real wear - leather tabs could use some Neetsfoot oil but are otherwise good.  They are marked "Korsteel" on each stirrup.  They measure 5 3/4" long on the bottom of the iron.  Space for the foot is 4 3/4".  Nice irons at a great price (valued is at least at the tack shop).
