Darling, 22 inches tall, original 1934, early issue, signed head and body, composition Shirley Temple doll produced by Ideal Novelty & Toy Co. as designed by Bernard Lipfert. Her hazel brown sleep eyes (some crystallizing) with perfect inset sable eyelashes as well as painted lashes and multi-stroke brows, original beautiful, full blond wig in original soft curly set, an open mouth with row of pearly teeth, molded dimples and vivid pink coloring and blush. She has a swivel neck and joints at her shoulders and is marked on the back of her neck: Shirley Temple (inside her leg & arm joints: 22) and across her shoulders: Shirley Temple over 22 (as described on pages 13-15, "Shirley Temple Dolls & Fashions"-Pardella). She has a swivel neck and joints at her shoulders and is in very good overall condition with one small age slit and stress line on side of neck, but No typical eye or mouth splits, plus a pinky missing, other damages, stains or repaint , no odors as she is from a smoke free home. This impressive size Shirley Temple has a presence about her that would make her stand out with other Shirley dolls.
