DESCRIPTION & CONDITION:
The catalog to an auction held in New York by the American Art Galleries on November 18-20, 1915.
A very early auction of English and other ceramics, as well as glass and silver (no glass or silver items are illustrated). The catalog was prepared by Dr. Hunter, “assisted by Dr. Edwin Atlee Barber, Director of the Pennsylvania Museum, who examined and authenticated the specimens”.
Paper covers. 6”x9”, about 75 pages, black & white illustrations. Binding shot- spine gone, both covers detached from the sewn text block, covers damaged as well. A little scattered soil to the pages, but not actually bad once you get past the really deplorable covers.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OVERSEAS BUYERS, PLEASE NOTE:
SHIPPING: To comply with Ebay’s policies, all packages are shipped using recorded/trackable methods and you should check the postage quotes before completing a purchase. Our International shipping charges are based on the weight, when packed, of each package -we offer “combined shipping charges” for orders for more than one item –this often means the shipping cost for the items is less than it would have been if they had been purchased and shipped one at a time, so please ask us for a shipping quote if you are thinking about buying more than one item. Thanks!
CUSTOMS CHARGES: Your post office may impose a customs charge on your incoming package, we have no control over this and no information about it, please check with your post office for more information. It is against U.S. law and Ebay rules for us to lie on the customs form about the value of packages, please do not ask us to do this.
