Greentown glass, “fast becoming legendary in the collectors’ world for its fascinating and unusual glassware, has finally come into its own.  The factory was started in 1894 as the ‘Indiana Tumbler and Goblet Company’, later becoming the ‘National Glass Company’ in 1899.  Then in June, 1903, fire brought to an end the wonderful works of ‘Greentown Glass’.  The main purpose of this book is to show as close as possible the true coloring and patterns of the ‘Greentown Glass’.”
