    Description

    The two U. S postal salutes to Clara Barton the pioneering nurse who founded the American Red Cross and
    served as a hospital nurse in the Civil War: (1) 'Clara Barton and Red Cross' issued in 1948 and  (2) 'Civil War Legends-Clara Barton' (there is a narrative on the reverse of the stamp) issued in 1995.  Nice attractive display mounts are included.   A portion of proceeds go to the American Red Cross.
