Description

Here we have a home-made LF adapter with a Canon 5d mount. The bulk of this adapter is made from a Fujifilm GX 680 front standard with all the original movements. It has the long-extension bellows. The rear standard is made from aluminum and incorporates an RB67 rotating back, modified so that it rotates the mounted camera between portrait and landscape freely and clicks into place. I used this with a Verito lens several times, but it was more just to keep involved in photography (not enough space to do any actual photography, but this kept me interested in photography). Included is an adapter for Graflex lens boards. The Verito in the picture is attached to a Graflex lensboard and in turn is attached to the front standard. It does add some distance between the lens and sensor. Non-Graflex lens boards were hand made from plastic. I will add pictures taken with it as soon as I find them (I've just moved and they're on a digital card somewhere).
To use it with a camera, you attach the camera to an adapter plate (included, see pix), and then attach that plate to the rear RB67 back. You can make your own adapter plate using mounts available on ebay, and attach pretty much any camera. Also, you can probably use an RB67 back, though all the safeguards are removed from the back, and you'd need to make a ground glass adapter for focusing.
NOTE: the rear standard has no motions, so the camera attached cannot be shifted for stitching frames together. It was made with portraiture in mind.
ANOTHER NOTE: Found an added some pix taken with the adapter. They are a mix of images taken with an Aero Ektar and Verito, plus some shots of the camera in action. You can see how the lenses were attached to the adapter. I focused with the help of a tethered table that is NOT included.
STILL ANOTHER NOTE: Camera and lenses not included. Just the adapter and the extra parts I made for it.
ANOTHER NOTE? YOU KNOW IT: At the request of one interested party wanting to know what comes with the adapter, see the last image. Besides the padded bag, and the adapter itself, you get... Top left, lens board for Aero Ektar lens (made from high-impact plastid and plywood, using body cap as a guide); top right. Graflex lens board adapter (lens in Graflex board fits in front, adapter fits into front standard of adapter); bottom left, Canon adapter (mounts to camera like a lens, then into rear standard of adapter); original body cap.
