Arriflex Arri 16SR 16mm Camera Body w/ accessories PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION

Description

This auction is for an Arriflex 16SR with 400’ magazine, rails, Petroff matte box, handgrip, 12v lithium ion battery, battery charger, Jon Fauer’s Arriflex 16SR Book, and body/magazine covers. This is a later 16SR and therefore has the better quality German motor and electronics as opposed to the earlier models, but it still has the older Arri bayonet mount. I have NEVER used this camera with film, but when plugged into the 12v battery, it runs smoothly and quietly, and the sync light flashes. When turned off the mirror automatically returns to the viewfinder position as it should. The light meter appears to work when the camera is on and the light source is adjusted, but I CANNOT verify the accuracy. The battery and charger were purchased brand new last year, so they should serve well for some time. The handgrip switch is sometimes a little tricky to disengage, but camera function is not affected. As I have NEVER actually used this camera, it may require adjustments and/or cleaning. When a lens is attached, the viewfinder looks slighly dusty, but is clear and useable. No lens is included. Again, this camera has NOT been tested with film and is therefore sold AS-IS with NO RETURNS. Please refer to the pictures for condition of camera and accessories included. Condition is "Used".
