ANTIQUE 3 MASTED BARKENTINE FOLK ART WATERLINE MODEL
Exceptional folk art model with lots of detail. Could be sailor made. Rigging is a combination of wire for the standing rigging
and I am guessing linen for the running rigging. The standing rigging seems to be in good condition. Tin sails. The blocks look like they were made by the modeler. Other than the rigging issues, it needs a couple of spreaders
. Small hole in the mizzen topsail. There may be more issues; I have listed what is obvious to me. Base is 6-1/4 x 25 yellow pine, with gesso or putty sea. Some cracking and missing edges.
Ship is heeled about 15 degrees to starboard. 17-1/4 high. Width is about 7-1/2 to 8 in. Length from aft base to tip of bowsprit would be 29 in. including the repair.
Weighs about 7-8 lb.
LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. Let me know if you want it shipped; I will provide cost via UPS. I would have to build a crate 20 x 32 x12 for which I would charge .  I can not guarantee that some additional damage may not occur during shipping due to normal handling.

I have repaired the fore top and bowsprit by drilling into the respective spars and fashioning a new piece that fits into the drilled out hole. See last two photos. This is as strong a repair as you could make without taking things apart.
