Antique Cloudy Amber Pendant English Tax Stamps with Mexican Silver 26 In. Chain

We offer for your consideration this antique Amber pendant.
This pendant is comprised of a large teardrop shaped piece of cloudy (egg yolk) Amber.
The pendant (including mount) measures approximately 53mm tall, 33 mm wide, 18 mm front to back. The width of the frame border is approximately 3 mm by 6 mm.
The bail on this piece is stamped MP. F. (possible makers Mark) and carries double English tax/duty levy stamps that were used up until the late 1890s.
The vintage handmade, 26 inch chain is stamped Mexico and .825, a grade of silver just a step below sterling.
