I photographed this poorly. Again. This is in remarkable condition for 120 years old! It is inscribed to Ann L.M. Lee, 1894, from F.M.G.. Of course, I did photograph that page! It was gifted again in 1926 to the Historical Society of Glastonbury, it appears. I have read bits of it, and it's quite floral and chatty, and a very nice peek into the thinking of collectors in the late 1800s. It's in very good condition, though the stitching in a couple of places in the center are visible. But, solid and intact still. Cover corners and edges slightly furred. But, generally really good condition. Pages clean, no tears, dog ears or spills. Published by Charles Scribner's Sons, New York.It discusses various makers by name at some length. Pretty neat reading, actually! Some makers I have not seen referenced in any of my other books.
This is left over from when I was dispersing my grandmother's porcelain collection, mostly her cups and saucers. I have several books of this sort of subject matter. Happy to combine shipping if you are interested in more than one. The others are listed under Pottery and Porcelain, I think. Not listed under "books". Under the subject instead. Or, click on my "other items" which is easiest! Duh.
