    Description

    Fine antique American picture frame circa late 19th century.
    This little gem has interior measurements of 5 3/4" by 8 1/4". Holds a 5 1/2" by 8" real well.
    Overall exterior measurements are 9 3/8" by 11 7/8".
    Molding is 2" wide.
    This frame is wood and gesso with a gorgeous and unusual very dark bronze finish with high, bright gold raised floral motif. The floral motif is Nouveau style flowers and leaves.
    Overall condition is good and presents very well.
    Frame has not been messed with or touched up and finish, etc is original.
    There are a few small areas of minor wear, a couple nicks, etc.(see photos)
    An exceptional little nouveau, victorian, very early modernist American picture frame.
    This little gem will enhance any good painting, photo, print, etc.
