antique 40" FOLK ART FLAT BOAT - HAND MADE - PENNSYLVANIA ESTATE

SEE ALL PICTURES BELOW TEXT  -  This hand made folk art Flat Boat was found in the basement of a very old rural property in Northern Pennsylvania near the New York border. The boat is Large and Impressive  at 40” in length and it weighs over 10 pounds  - it is solid as a rock. I have included many pictures so you can get an idea of what is here – a lot of details, nice old worn green and gray paint, many small tires with rope alongside, several fittings and a movable shed with steps. The deck was black when acquired but the old gray paint has survived and is really nice. The dark green hull looks like it should with natural wear. Something interesting is the presence of sand or tiny pebbles inside the hull  -  I haven’t seen what is inside but when shaken that is the impression one gets.  -  overall very good with a wonderful antique look and feel , probably 1910 -1940, possibly earlier .
