18' Compo Shirley Temple Store Display

Description

This is a 1930's composition strung 18" IDEAL Shirley Temple doll that I believe may have been used in a Store Display.  She came to me exactly like this years ago.
She has her original shoes and socks.  When I pulled down her crepe paper hat to see her hair, I could see it was a thick original human hair wig that is flattened from storage.  Her composition is excellent with no crazing, very mild surface line here and there.  Her face color is still good with rosy cheeks.  Her eyes are crazed.
She has thick horsehair brush eye lashes.  The painted eye lashes under eyes are different on each side, see photo.  May have originally been painted by 2 artists when made.  She has eye shadow or actually a gray "line" above her eyes that is like eye shadow.
Her costume is not removable unless the new owner wants to remove it and redress her.  It is all crepe paper.  I have had her for a long time and she is as I purchased her from original owner in NYC.
She has a great Shirley Temple face, dimples, good coloring, very appealing.
