    Description

This lot of old Jewelers Stamping Dies are
    good
condition. I believe that these dies date from the 1920's or earlier, and I am sure you will know. Included here are
    (11) Jewelry/Pendant Die blocks
of long ago. These dies were purchased from a long defunct Jewelry store in central Ohio. The store had been closed since the 1940's. The tallest of the die blocks measures 1-3/4" inches in height and most of these dies measure over 1-1/2" inches across their outer diameter. The cavities measure from just 5/16" up to 1" in height. Each of these depicts small die cavities with Greek Letter detail. Take notice that many of these look to be the fraternity or Ohio State club related. A few of these feature at least two cavities. By far the most interesting of these would be the Piave Club die that is dated 1918. That was likely the very first accounting of the Italian Piave Club which still exists today. These dies are made of hardened steel, and notice the one double cavity die block does have a split down its side with a very old repair ring surrounding the metal block(all shown)
. For the other 10 remaining blocks, there are
    no
cracks, breaks, or chips on these gems. Together these 11 die blocks weigh over 8 lbs (3700 grams). Some aging on the outside surfaces of the block(all shown). Strong still, and all look to be usable. My 12 closeup photos are very true to life. Hopefully someone needs this to complete their collection. Too cool to pass up! Guaranteed 100% old and original. A must for the old Jewelry or Die maker. Buyer pays .00 carefully boxed shipping within the U.S. **

I cannot combine shipping on other auctions, as that would be too heavy to box up.
