Listing is for a ,500 COMPOSITION SHIRLEY TEMPLE DOLL WITH ORIGINAL PIN (1934) AND APPRAISAL. Does not include the original box.  Manufactured by Ideal Toy Company, New York (1907-1982).  Late c. 1934. Pictures?  The actual Shirley Temple doll...not a glossy website (which is illegal without the permission of the manufacturer).  Pictures have not been enhanced nor re-formatted, and were taken with my iPhone 8+. A breath-taking piece!
Includes February 5, 2010 Replacement Valuation of ,500 via an ASA Appraiser (which included the box).
Description: The composition jointed doll wearing a mohair wig, a white gauze sort sleeved empire waist dress with red ribbon trim, large red strawberry polka-dots and a scalloped hemline, the dress with the "America's Little Darling" pin attached, cream color knitted socks and cream-color Mary Jane shoes with silver buckles.  Size?  17 3/4" Tall.
I am nauseated by inflated shipping fees I see on EBAY. Shipping should not be a profit center…and buyers who do not understand this should be tarred and feathered. With this in mind, shipping is a flat .50 to anywhere in the United States. Will be packed as fragile of course. And yes, insurance will be in place. I will get back to you with the USPS tracking number. (Nervous about shipping a fragile?  I have shipped 19th Century antiquities with valuations of ,000+ without issue.  Shirley Temple?  A walk in the park.)
